- Florence Marmiesse builds bridges between the creative world and the economy, convinced of the necessity of art. Graduated from Central Saint Martins in London and ESC Toulouse, she has nineteen years of international experience in the art market and luxury industry. She has held strategic marketing and communications positions at Sotheby's, Artcurial, and Fabergé in London, Shanghai, and Paris, supporting their international development. She also led the global communications and marketing strategy for a European consulting group, integrating culture-focused policies and an international contemporary gallery focused on audience relations. In 2022, she co-founded IDA with Camilla D'Alfonso, specializing in tailor-made artistic strategies for brands, institutions, and collectors. IDA connects artists and collectors through innovative and meaningful artistic projects, covering acquisition, commissioning, patronage, exhibitions, and cultural events. With an international network of artists, galleries, and auction houses, IDA combines strategic expertise and artistic sensibility to offer solutions tailored to each client. The IDA Residency, supported by the French Embassy in Rome, welcomes international artists from all disciplines, selected by a jury of professionals from the art world. Dedicated to research, experimentation, and interdisciplinary exchanges, the residency offers a setting conducive to contemporary creation in Tuscany.
