- Art and Technology Entrepreneur, Investor Co-Founder, Aleph Studios and Alpha Star Board Member, Perrotin, Matis, Art Recognition Alexandre Cadain is an entrepreneur and investor working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, art, and impact. He is the co-founder of Aleph Studios, an AI venture studio, and Alpha Star, an investment firm backing visionary founders in creative technologies, science, and sustainability. A graduate of HEC Paris, ENS Ulm, and Sorbonne Paris IV, Alexandre Cadain has been active in the convergence of art and technology since his teens, when he founded his first contemporary art gallery in Paris. His graduate research explored the deep correspondences between technological and artistic avant-gardes, drawing parallels between the early 20th century and the digital turn of the 21st. He later co-founded the Post-Digital research seminar at ENS Ulm, exploring the cultural and creative implications of AI, with a focus on “Artificial Imagination.” He has been a member of the United Nations AI for Good initiative and served as European Ambassador for the AI XPRIZE. Within the art sector, Alexandre Cadain sits on the boards of Perrotin, Matis, and Art Recognition. He is the author of Homo Ludens (Observatoire, 2024), an essay on alternative game theories for a creative and sustainable society.
